The Next Big Idea Club is a book subscription community curated by some of the world’s leading thinkers: Malcolm Gladwell (The Tipping Point, Blink, Outliers), Susan Cain (Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can’t Stop Talking), Adam Grant (Give and Take, Originals), and Daniel H. Pink (Drive, To Sell Is Human). Together, these bestselling authors select each season’s two most exciting new nonfiction books, and then we send them straight to you. We also prepare e-courses and additional reading materials based on the books that you won’t find anywhere else.
You bet! We have partnered with Kindle to offer a digital version of the Next Big Idea Club. You’ll receive eBook versions of the titles, plus digital files and links for all of the bonus content. An eBook subscription costs $199 per year.
Just be sure that you have a compatible Kindle device, or use the free Kindle app for iPhone, iPad, or Android OS smartphones and tablets.
Every season, club members dive into two newly released hardcover books, both of which are hand-picked by our four curators as the most exciting nonfiction titles of the season. Ranging from psychology to creativity, from business to happiness, these books cover material that is science-based, groundbreaking, and truly life-changing. View past selections and finalists.
Our book selections are chosen quarterly. New seasons begin approximately every March (Spring), June (Summer), September (Fall), and December (Winter). Members who join us mid-season will receive that season’s box while supplies last. And our Member Library (where you’ll find e-courses based on each book selection) is always available, so you can dive into our exclusive videos, reading guides, and discussion threads right away!
If you join with a hardcover or eBook membership, your books will be sent to you within two weeks of joining. If you have a hardcover membership, once your box ships, you will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org with your tracking number. eBooks are also delivered in an email from email@example.com. If you’d like more details on your order, our support team will be happy to assist you.
The Express Membership is perfect for anyone who loves big ideas, but doesn’t have time to read big-idea books from cover to cover. Express Members get instant access to our entire library of e-courses based on selected books, which include video series starring the authors, helpful reading guides, review quizzes, discussion questions, and exclusive author interviews. Express Members also receive an invitation to join our private discussion forum, where they can get to know fellow members, featured authors, and even our four curators. In other words, you receive everything that other members do, except the books themselves, which you’re free to purchase separately in any format you choose. At under $9 per month, this membership is a great deal for curious minds with a busy schedule!
Of course! We welcome members from all around the world. At this time we don’t offer shipping outside the U.S., so we encourage prospective international subscribers to check out a flexible Express Membership or an eBook Membership.
We sure do! We offer a 30 day money back guarantee on all of our membership levels. We offer full refunds within 30 days of your purchase. And if you’re not satisfied with your membership at any time, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll do our best to improve your experience. We are always eager to receive feedback from our members, so that we can keep making the Next Big Idea Club even better.

If you are an e-book member, living outside of the United States, follow these steps to claim your Kindle books if you face difficulty. First, change the address of your account (as well as the delivery address) to the US, then change it to any other country, and back to the US again. We have heard from other international members that this resolves the glitch. If this doesn’t work, please let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will help resolve the issue.
Our popular printable reading guides, included with membership, are found in the e-course section of the app, or member-library on the web. They are all bundled together in their own “course” located at the bottom of the other courses in the feed called “Printable Reading Guides”.
From there, all past guides are available as PDFs and can be downloaded and printed on any home printer.
