If you need to cancel your membership and you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play store, on your iPhone or Android device, follow the instructions below for your specific device. Your subscription will automatically be renewed at the end of the term unless turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
To cancel from your iPhone or Android device:

To turn off auto renew or cancel your membership on your IOS device, open the Settings App > tap on (your name) > tap on Subscriptions > select the Next Big Idea > tap Cancel Subscription.
Android:
To turn off auto renew on your device, open the Google Play app > tap your profile icon > tap Payments & subscriptions > select the Next Big Idea > tap Cancel subscription.
If you need to cancel your membership and you subscribed through our website for an Innovator, Executive, or Express membership please email us at cancel@nextbigideaclub.com and we will process your request.
Our book selections are chosen quarterly. New seasons begin approximately every March (Spring), June (Summer), September (Fall), and December (Winter). Members who join us mid-season will receive that season’s box while supplies last. And our Member Library (where you’ll find e-courses based on each book selection) is always available, so you can dive into our exclusive videos, reading guides, and discussion threads right away!
Yes! The NextBigIdea app is absolutely free to download and enjoy. However, only Next Big Idea Club members gain access to our premium e-courses, podcast, challenges, Book Bite Classics, and full playlist functionality. If you’d like to try a membership yourself, start right here.
If you join with a hardcover or eBook membership, your books will be sent to you within two weeks of joining. If you have a hardcover membership, once your box ships, you will receive an email from info@nextbigideaclub.com with your tracking number. eBooks are also delivered in an email from info@nextbigideaclub.com. If you’d like more details on your order, our support team will be happy to assist you.

Our premium e-courses are available on the web at nextbigideaclub.com/login or through the Next Big Idea App. If you are a Next Big Idea Club member, are logged into the app but receive an error message when trying to access the e-courses, please logout and log back in. This should resolve the issue.
If you are an e-book member, living outside of the United States, follow these steps to claim your Kindle books if you face difficulty. First, change the address of your account (as well as the delivery address) to the US, then change it to any other country, and back to the US again. We have heard from other international members that this resolves the glitch. If this doesn’t work, please let us know at support@nextbigideaclub.com and we will help resolve the issue.
Our popular printable reading guides, included with membership, are found Reading Schedule section of the app, or member-library on the web. In the Reading Schedule you will find all associated materials for each selected book including the downloadable PDF reading guides, Book Bites, podcast episodes, videos, and more.
On the web, reading guides are all bundled together in their own “course” located at the bottom of the other courses in the feed called “Printable Reading Guides”. From there, all past guides are available as PDFs and can be downloaded and printed on any home printer.

We host several different types of events. Our members enjoy regular, live, virtual Q&As with our authors where they get to interact directly with the authors of our seasonal selections. These events are private and only available to members. These Q&As are announced to members as soon as they are scheduled with the authors. A list of upcoming events is updated under the events tab in the Next Big Idea App.
We also host live ticketed events in New York City with world renown authors such as Yuval Noah Harari and Malcolm Gladwell.

The Next Big Idea Club does not offer an audiobook membership option at this time. However, we recommend that members that prefer to listen to audiobooks join with an Express Membership and then purchase the audiobooks on their own in order to participate with the reading schedule.
We also highly recommend checking Libby to see if the audiobook is available from your local library. Because our selected books are newly published they are often not available on Libby, but it is worth checking first.
At the start of every season we will email your Kindle codes from info@nextbigideaclub.com. If you don’t see the email please check your spam folders or search your mail. Kindle codes expire after 60 days from being delivered so we encourage you to claim them as soon as possible.
If for some reason you don’t claim them before they expire, please let us know by sending an email to support@nextbigideaclub.com and we will send you replacement Kindle codes.
